The Government of Suriname is pleased to announce its commitment to unlocking the vast potential of West-Suriname’s Bakhuis bauxite resources by inviting strategic investors to participate in a transformative project aimed at adding substantial value to this critical sector of our economy. West-Suriname boasts significant bauxite deposits that have remained largely untapped, presenting an exciting opportunity for investors to engage in sustainable resource development that will contribute to the nation’s growth and prosperity. The Government of Suriname will issue a Request for Expression of Interest to identify Interested Parties, who will subsequently be sent a Request for Proposal.
